A Wrinkle On - Stay At Home Coins from The Master Routines DVD

JAN JENSEN

I chatted with Jan at the Blackpool Convention and he passed on this nice tip for a way to make the last coin vanish when placed on top of the folded handkerchief. Since the last coin is the one with the Blu Tack on it, he takes it and openly places it on to his right palm, Blu Tack side downwards, and presses it into place. He then apparently tips his hand over on to the handkerchief as if to allow the coin to fall onto the cloth, keeping his hand palm down over it for a few moments. He then snaps his fingers and lifts his right hand away to show that the coin has gone. Of course, because of the Blu Tack the coin remains stuck secretly to his palm, which makes for a really clean coin vanish. All he has to do then is to use his incurled right fingers to detach the coin so that it falls into a right finger palm and then he is all set to insert the coin into the recess base of the Boston Box as per the original instructions. The only downside to this excellent idea is that if you sweat a lot when performing, the Blu Tack may not stick very well, but apart from that, I think this is a great little wrinkle.
