Some tricks have a single moment in them which makes an audience gasp, and this card routine has one such moment. A signed card is slipped into a small envelope which has a square hole cut right the way through its centre. The card can clearly be seen inside. Holding up the envelope, the magician passes his hand across the front of the envelope and the card visibly vanishes! One moment it can be clearly seen in the envelope the next it is gone and the envelope is torn up. When the deck is spread the signed card is found face up in the centre. No sleights, this is very cunning.
