Slo Mo
And so we come to the final Master Routine, No.12. I have always loved coin magic. The fact that the Master Routine Series contains, including this one, four coin effects, shows this I suppose, and this routine I think also demonstrates how my thinking and routining has changed over the last 20 years.
Whereas Stay At Home Coins, the first coin routine in the Series, used a lot of sleight of hand, SLO-MO relies more on casual handling and is therefore more suited to those who work commercially for lay people.
The idea for this routine came after I read Derek Dingle’s Silver Quick routine in Apocalypse Vol.1 No.9 (Sept.1978) which was a sort of coins across into a spectator’s hand. I played around with the Dingle routine for a while but I felt I would not be able to use it commercially, although I liked the idea of something happening with the coins in a spectator’s hands. After much experimentation and change, SLO-MO was put together and is the routine I have been using with lay people ever since. I hope you like it.
This great routine is available either as a TricKlip Video Download if you learn best from video, or if you prefer written directions, then please select the Master E-Routine Download order button which will deliver the instructions via a pdf text file.
Please note: You will need an expanded shell coin to perform this routine.
